Break It Down is a digital campaign which aims at spreading awareness about Equality. Through the campaign, we’re raising funds for Purnata (www.purnata.org), an NGO that works to rescue and rehabilitate children and women who have been victims of Human Trafficking. There are things that I observe around us.
I see women being treated inequally, as if they were any lesser than men.
I see people talking to waiters, helpers, cleaners differently than they would with a stranger in a suit.
I see people spreading hate on the grounds of religion.
I see hostility towards the LGBTQ community.
I see judgement being passed on; based on how people look and how they choose to live their lives.
I see people being treated inequally in ways that i can’t even keep a track of.
And i have just one question to all of humanity - WHY?
You’re different than every other person reading this post, in a countless number of ways. For the same reason, people tend to fit each other in a box and stick a label on them. Although, you’re way more than those “categories” and the traits that people think define you.
"It doesn’t matter what your gender, age, size or weight is, if you’re rich or poor in the eyes of society, how much melanin is under your skin, who you choose to love, where you come from and what culture you represent, which supernatural power you bow down to, what your belief system constitutes of, whether you look, walk or talk different than the rest of us or are unique in your own way!”
Ultimately, the fact is that all 7 billion people on this planet have been created as equal individuals. We might be born different, look different, have completely different lifestyles but that doesn’t change the fact that we are made of the same flesh and blood and are essentially the same form of life, while we share our experiences on this planet with each other.
All the differences that we see amongst each other is actually what makes us stronger as humans. Let’s embrace them as the perfect recipe to create the magical soup of humanity, instead of viewing them as labels and categories to discriminate against our own kind. It's time for us to break down all those mental barriers between people, to act equally and to live a life filled with love, compassion and peace.
"No matter what our differences are from the outside, we’re all the same from the inside." And that is precisely what is portrayed here by one human, being sculpted in various forms.

Where You Come From
I hope that all of you inculcate the values of equality in your daily lives and make small changes in yourself and everyone around you to make the world a better place and more inclusive for all of us!
Let us take the first step towards helping those who are not living a life as privileged as ours and are in dire need of financial support. Let's give them a fair ground, free them from injustice and elevate them from being victims of inequality. It is a humble request to contribute to the fundraiser - www.ketto.org/breakitdown
Please do not forget to share the video and this post with all your friends and spread the message to everyone!

To conclude, all I would like to say is -
Let’s not be patient now, let’s just go break it down!
